ZenChords Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

“ZenChords” refers to the digital platform, brand, and services operated by Hatfold Limited via zenchords.com and the ZenChords mobile applications.
“User” refers to any individual accessing, purchasing, or downloading content from ZenChords.

2. General Terms

By accessing our website or app, and/or purchasing digital content, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page.

3. Payment & Security

All purchases must be completed through our secure third-party checkout system (Stripe, Apple Pay or Google Pay). We process transactions in full prior to granting access to digital content or streaming services. Prices may vary depending on platform.

4. Taxes & VAT

All prices shown are the final price. Hatfold Limited is not currently VAT registered in the UK; however, we reserve the right to adjust pricing or apply VAT should our registration status or local tax laws change without prior notice.

5. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All content on ZenChords—including audio files, hypnosis recordings, text, branding, and imagery—is the exclusive property of Hatfold Limited and is protected by international copyright laws. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the content; you may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission.

6. Digital Delivery & Access

Upon successful payment, users will receive access to their content via:

In-app streaming access (for mobile users)
Direct access via the ZenChords Web Store ZenChords is not responsible for access issues arising from incorrect email addresses or device incompatibility. For technical assistance, please contact us within 7 days of purchase.

7. Statutory Right to Cancel & Digital Waiver

Please Read Carefully: By purchasing digital content (including audio streams) from ZenChords, you express your explicit consent for the supply of digital content to begin immediately. You acknowledge that once the stream or download has commenced, you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel the contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are generally not provided for “change of mind.” However:

Technical Defects: If the digital content is technically defective or fails to stream correctly, you are entitled to a replacement or fix. If we cannot resolve the issue within 30 days, a full refund will be issued.
Access Revocation: In the event a refund is processed, ZenChords reserves the right to immediately terminate the User’s stream access and delete the associated account/data.

9. Cross-Platform Synchronization

While we aim for near-instant synchronization, please allow a short window for web purchases to appear in the mobile app. Users may need to utilize the “Refresh Purchases” button within the mobile app settings to manually sync their library.

10. Health & Safety Disclaimer

ZenChords content is designed for relaxation, musical mindset, and personal development. It is not a medical device. If you have epilepsy, psychosis, or other serious health concerns, you must consult a medical professional before use. Never listen to ZenChords audio while driving or operating machinery.

11. Liability

ZenChords is not liable for any misuse or unintended effects resulting from the use of our digital content. All use is at the user’s own discretion and risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

12. Download & Backup Responsibility

Where a download is provided, it is the user’s responsibility to back up the content. ZenChords may provide replacement links for up to 90 days after purchase, subject to availability.

13. Privacy & Data

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using this service, you consent to the collection and use of data necessary for the fulfillment of your digital purchases.

14. Territorial Restrictions

The ZenChords product and associated services are intended for use only in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other authorized territories excluding the USA and Canada.

Hatfold Limited does not represent that the services are appropriate or available for use in the United States or Canada. Accessing or downloading the ZenChords app from these territories is strictly prohibited. Users who choose to access the service via a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or other circumvention methods from restricted territories do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Hatfold Limited reserves the right to terminate access for users found to be operating in prohibited jurisdictions.

15. Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
